Avoid immersive or surround-style options for direct uploads whenever possible.
Check the common phone recording options below and choose Mono or Stereo whenever you can.
iPhone
iPhone recordings work well with ReGen when recorded in Mono or Stereo. Avoid Spatial Audio for now.

Try uploading the file first.
If ReGen cannot detect the voice, export or convert the audio to Mono or Stereo and upload again.
If the recording has separate left and right speakers, export a normal stereo mix before upload.
If the file uses Spatial Audio, 360 Audio or Quadraphonic audio, export a standard Stereo version before upload.
