Your Waves client account is personal and non-transferrable. It is associated with the email address used to open and confirm the account.

Can I update my licenses to the latest version via my client account?

Waves Creative Access subscription licenses will be updated to new versions automatically, as soon as a new version is released. You do not need to update licenses on your own (nor is this option available).
Once a new update is available, simply log in to Waves Central and install the software updates.

Waves application licenses can be updated in your client account, as long as they are covered by the Waves Update Plan. Can I register a second license via my client account?

Yes. You can register second licenses for any perpetual (non-subscription) plugin or bundle license that is still covered by the Waves Update Plan. Register your second licenses here.

Please note: Second Licenses are available only for products covered by the Waves Update Plan. Starting March 27, 2023, Waves Update Plan coverage can no longer be renewed for any Waves plugin or bundle.

Waves Creative Access subscription licenses can be authorized on one system at a time. If you want to move your license between different machines, follow the instructions here. Additional subscriptions can be purchased if needed.

Can I transfer, give, or sell my account to someone else?

No, you cannot transfer or sell your account (or its login credentials) to anyone else, neither for free nor for a price.

No, you cannot take over someone else’s account, neither for free nor for a price. Each account includes its owner’s personal details, rewards, certifications, etc., and can therefore not be transferred.
