Exceptions:

Clarity Vx and Clarity Vx Pro plugins require the Rosetta 2 emulator to run on Apple Silicon processors. We are working to add native Apple Silicon support for these plugins in the near future.
COSMOS Sample Finder requires the Rosetta 2 emulator to run. We are working to add native Apple Silicon support for COSMOS in the near future.
ReWire: The ReWire software protocol does not work on Apple Silicon processors.
H-Reverb, IR-1 plugins: While these plugins run fine natively in the DAWs listed above, when running in the Rosetta 2 emulator environment, H-Reverb and IR-1 display graphic issues.

The following host applications are not supported on Apple Silicon (with or without Rosetta 2):

Final Cut Pro*: Although Apple has announced that its proprietary DAWs are officially supported natively on Apple Silicon processors (without Rosetta 2), we have found that Waves plugins do not load or work properly in Final Cut Pro on Apple Silicon processors.

We will work to provide official Apple Silicon support for more host applications as they become Apple Silicon-compatible. We will update this page with new developments as they are available.
