Reassign the Server:

Server still appears as N/A? Check IPv6 settings

In order for the server to be available in the SoundGrid network, IPv6 should be enabled and set correctly:

Windows

  1. Press [Win key], type Network Connections and hit Enter.
  2. Right-click on the network adapter connected to the SoundGrid network and select Properties.
  3. Make sure that Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) is check-marked.
  4. Highlight Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and click on Properties.
  5. Select Obtain an IPv6 address automatically and click OK.
  6. Click OK again.

Mac

  1. Go to System Preferences > Network > Ethernet > Advanced.
  2. Set Configure IPv6 to Automatically.
  3. Click OK.

The server should now appear in the Inventory with a green “ON” indication.

Server still appears as N/A? Check for VPN

VPN software can alter network settings to meet its requirements.
These changes can affect the network ports used for SoundGrid and may compromise performance of the SoundGrid network.
We strongly advise that you remove, disable, or turn off all VPN software while working with SoundGrid.

None of the above has worked? Please contact Waves Tech Support.
