Last updated on: 9/6/2017 10:00:37 AM

To run Waves plugins on Mac OS Mountain Lion 10.8.5 and Mavericks 10.9.5, you must use the v9.6 offline installer for Mac.

If you wish to use Waves plugins v9.92 or later, please update your Mac OS to a more recent version.

If this is not an option, please follow these instructions:

  1. Quit any host application.
  2. Download the v.9.6 Offline Installer for Mac.
  3. Unzip the folder to your desktop.
  4. Run the “Install_Waves_Central” file (.dmg for Mac / .exe for PC), and follow the prompts to install the Waves Central Legacy version (“Waves Central L”).
  5. Launch Waves Central L.
  6. Click on Install Products.
  7. In the left panel, click on Select Offline Installer.
  8. When prompted, highlight the Waves folder on your desktop and click Select folder/Open.
  9. In the middle panel, select the product/s you wish to install.
  10. Click Install.
Important Notes:
