How to Roll Back to V10 Plugins for Soundgrid V9 Apps

If you have installed the latest plugin versions, which will not run on V9 SoundGrid apps such as MultiRack, SoundGrid Studio, and StudioRack, follow these instructions to revert your plugins to version V10/V9.

V9 SoundGrid applications only support V9 and V10 plugins. If you installed newer plugin version/s and want to keep your V9 SoundGrid application, follow the steps below.

If you have activated newer license versions, don’t worry! These will work with your V9 and V10 plugin software.

To check if a plugin exists in an older version, scroll to the bottom of the older version's download page.

To revert to V10 or V9 plugins:

  1. Quit any host application.
  2. Launch Waves Central.
  3. Click the Settings page to the left.
  4. Under Maintenance, click the Uninstall drop-down menu and choose to uninstall the existing plugin version.

Finally, run the Version Organizer

  1. Go to the Settings tab
  2. Under Maintenance, locate the Version Organizer and click Run to its right.
  3. In the next window, click Run again
    On Mac you will be prompted to enter your administrator password.
  4. Waves Central will now organize your plugins by version and license.
  5. Once the process is complete, click OK.

The Version Organizer will now correlate the plugin software installed on your system to the licenses you have activated.
