Installing My Products and Demos

Last updated on: 12/22/2019 4:07:39 AM

Waves Central is an application used to install, manage, and update your Waves software products and licenses. You can install new products, move and deactivate licenses, install legacy software, and install to offline devices. Note that you can install Waves software on several devices, but you cannot use a single license simultaneously on more than one device.

Important Notes:
  • Check which software version is most suitable for your system and DAW.
  • Newly purchased (or demoed) V11 licenses will activate V10 and V9 software, as long as the products in question exist in V10 or V9. To find out whether a certain plugin exists in V10 or V9, visit the V10 and V9 download pages, and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  • Existing V9 licenses can be found and managed in the Licenses page of Waves Central. Learn how to activate licenses.
  • Software versions earlier than 9.92 cannot co-exist with software versions V10 or V11, if you wish to run V9 side by side with V10 or V11 – please install version 9.92
  • For this reason, installing V11 alongside V9 may cause temporary loss of access to the V9 plugins on systems that do support both versions. We are aware of this issue and it can be repaired by reinstalling V9.92 plugins or contacting Tech Support.”
