How to Roll Back to Waves V11

If you have inadvertently installed a plugin version which cannot run on your operating system or host application and need to use V11 plugins, here are the instructions to roll back your plugins to V11.

If you have activated the new licenses, no worries! Newly purchased (or demoed) licenses will activate V11 software, as long as the products in question exist in V11.

To find out whether a certain plugin exists in V11, visit the V11 Download page and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

  1. Quit any host application.
  2. Launch Waves Central and log in.
  3. On the left-hand side, click the Settings page.
  4. Under Maintenance, click the Uninstall drop-down menu and choose to uninstall the V12 (or higher) Plugins*.
  5. Click the Install Products page > All Products tab.
  6. Click the View menu and select V11
  7. Use the search bar to search for and select the specific products you wish to install. Review the selections in the Summary section.
  8. Click the Install button.
