How to Roll Back to Waves V10

If you have inadvertently installed latest-version plugins that do not run on your operating system or host application and want to use V10 plugins, follow these instructions to revert your plugins to V10.

If you activated licenses of a newer version, don’t worry! Current version licenses will activate older version software (V9 and above), if the product/s in question exist in this software version.
To check if a plugin exists in an older version, scroll to the bottom of the older version's download page.

  1. Quit any host application.
  2. Launch Waves Central and log in.
  3. On the left-hand side, click the Settings page.
  4. Under Maintenance, click the Uninstall drop-down menu and choose to uninstall the new version.
  5. Click the Install Products page > All Products tab.
  6. Click the View menu and select V10
  7. Use the search bar to search for and select the specific products you wish to install. Review the selections in the Summary section.
  8. Click the Install button.
