How to Roll Back to Waves V10

If you have inadvertently installed V11 plugins which cannot run on your operating system or host application and need to use V10 plugins, here are the instructions to roll back your plugins to V10.

If you have activated V11 licenses, no worries! Newly purchased (or demoed) V11 licenses will activate V10 software, as long as the products in question exist in V10. To find out whether a certain plugin exists in V10, visit the V10 Download page and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

  1. Quit any host application.
  2. Launch Waves Central and log in.
  3. On the left-hand side, click the Settings page.
  4. Under Maintenance, click the Uninstall drop-down menu and choose to uninstall V11 Plugins.
  5. Click the Install Products page > All Products tab.
  6. Click the View menu and select V10
  7. Use the search bar to search for and select the specific products you wish to install. Review the selections in the Summary section.
  8. Click the Install button.
