How to Load Sync Vx in your DAW

Apr 14, 2026

Learn how to load Sync Vx in your DAW in order to sync multiple vocal tracks.

Sync Vx can be loaded as a plugin insert on most Supported Hosts (please see the full list of supported hosts here).

Sync Vx is available in the plugin list in your DAW. Load an instance of Sync Vx on each Track you want to sync or sync to.

In Pro Tools, you can use Sync Vx as an AudioSuite plugin as well.

In the DAWs listed below, you can also use Sync Vx as an ARA plugin.

ARA stands for Audio Random Access, a protocol developed to improve the integration between audio plugins and DAWs. It allows plugins and DAWs to exchange information about audio content and session structure seamlessly.

ARA plugins are loaded differently from classic effect plug-ins. Please refer to the relevant article to learn how to load Sync Vx as an ARA plugin in your DAW.

Some DAWs do not currently support ARA integration, but may in the future. We will update this list as more DAWs introduce ARA support. If your DAW isn’t listed here, you can still use Sync Vx as a regular insert.

Please Note: Sync Vx ARA instances cannot communicate with regular Sync Vx insert instances.
Make sure to use the same plugin format for the tracks you wish to align.

Refer to the Sync Vx User Guide to learn more about how to use Sync Vx.
