How to Load Sync Vx in Studio One

Jan 20, 2025

Learn how to load Sync Vx in Studio One in order to align multiple vocal tracks.

Please Note: Sync Vx is an ARA plugin and is loaded differently than classic VST3 effect plug-ins.

ARA stands for Audio Random Access, a protocol developed to improve the integration between audio plugins and DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations). It allows plugins and DAWs to exchange information about audio content and session structure seamlessly.

Sync Vx aligns audio from multiple tracks, so you’ll need to load it on each audio Event you wish to sync.

In Studio One, you can insert Sync Vx on an audio Event in three ways:

  1. Right-click on the audio Event and select Event FX > Sync Vx: Right-click on the audio Event and select Event FX > Sync Vx
  2. Drag Sync Vx from the Browser to an Event – Sync Vx will be under Effects > Event Editors > Sync Vx: Drag Sync Vx from the Browser to an Event – Sync Vx will be under Effects > Event Editors > Sync Vx
  3. Select an audio Event, then load Sync Vx from the Event FX > Inserts > Event Editors menu in the Inspector: Select an audio Event, then load Sync Vx from the Event FX > Inserts > Event Editors menu in the Inspector

To access the Sync Vx interface once it is loaded on an Event, double-click on Sync Vx in the Event FX menu in the Inspector:
