How to Load Sync Vx in Samplitude / Sequoia

In Samplitude / Sequoia, Sync Vx can only be loaded as ARA plugin.

ARA stands for Audio Random Access, a protocol developed to improve the integration between audio plugins and DAWs. It allows plugins and DAWs to exchange information about audio content and session structure seamlessly.

Load an instance of Sync Vx on each track you want to sync or sync to.

Option 1 - Loading Sync Vx on an Entire Track

  1. Locate the vocal track that you want to use as the source or target for synchronization.
  2. Open the track’s plugin section.
  3. Click the plugin slot and select Plug-in Browser. Click the plugin slot and select Plug-in Browser
  4. In the Plugin Browser, Search for Sync Vx.
  5. Double-click the plugin or drag it onto the track. Double-click the plugin or drag it onto the track

Option 2 – Loading Sync Vx on a Specific Audio Clip

Use this method when you only want Sync Vx to process a specific audio event rather than the entire track.

  1. In the project timeline, select the audio clip you want to process.
  2. Right-click the selected audio clip.
  3. Navigate to Edit with ARA Plug-in.
  4. Select Waves Sync Vx. Select Waves Sync Vx
  5. The Sync Vx window will open and analyze only the selected audio clip.
