How to Load Sync Vx in Cakewalk Sonar

Learn how to load Sync Vx in Cakewalk Sonar in order to align multiple vocal tracks.

Please Note: Sync Vx is an ARA plugin and is loaded differently than classic VST3 effect plug-ins.

ARA stands for Audio Random Access, a protocol developed to improve the integration between audio plugins and DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations). It allows plugins and DAWs to exchange information about audio content and session structure seamlessly.

Sync Vx aligns audio from multiple tracks, so you’ll need to load it on each audio clip you wish to sync.

To load Sync Vx on an audio clip in Cakewalk Sonar, right-click on the clip you wish to sync and select Reigon FX > Sync Vx > Create Region FX:

To reopen Sync Vx’s interface, right-click on a clip which is being processed by Sync Vx, and select Region FX > Sync Vx > Open Editor.
