How to Import an Aux Mix from a Different Session in eMotion LV1

Learn how to import an aux mix from a different session in eMotion LV1.

Introduced in eMotion LV1 V16, it is now possible to import an aux (FX/Mon) mix from a scene in a different session to the currently active scene in the active session.

Follow these instructions:

  1. In eMotion LV1, go to Mixer 1 or 2 and access your Aux FX/Mon bus layer.
  2. Click on the Input Section. In the dropdown menu, select ‘Import Mix from Session’.

  3. Select the session file you wish to import a mix from.
  4. In the window that opens, first select the scene with the saved mix to import from.

  5. In the bottom section, select FX or Mon mix to import from.

  6. Click Import.
    Click Import

This imports:

  • Send levels and pick-point.
  • Aux Name.
  • Pan (provided the destination aux has the correct channel configuration).

Does not import:

  • Aux configuration (Mono/Stereo/IEM).
