MultiRack SoundGrid, the SoundGrid driver, eMotion ST and eMotion LV1 all require selecting a SoundGrid network port. Some systems will display a list of available network ports; follow these steps to identify the correct port.

Windows 10:

  1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Ethernet tab.
  2. Click the new "Unidentified network". This opens a window that displays the physical address (MAC).
  3. Choose this port in your SoundGrid Application.

Mac:

  1. Go To System Preferences > Network.
  2. On the left hand panel - highlight the new "Self-Assigned IP" marked with a yellow dot.
  3. Click "Advanced," then the "Hardware" tab, which displays the MAC address.
  4. Choose this port in your SoundGrid Application.

    * If there is no "Self-Assigned IP" listing, check that the new device has "Using DHCP" selected in the Configure IPv4 dialog.
