How to Get StudioVerse

Learn how to get StudioVerse, the free Waves audio effects and instruments chainers.

With StudioVerse, you can save and load complete chains using Waves pluginsor instruments as well as VST3 plugins or instruments by other manufacturers. You can also browse and load thousands of chain presets using our online community for plugin chains.

StudioVerse can be installed in four ways:

Option 1: Install StudioVerse for FREE

To install StudioVerseAudio Effects and StudioVerse Instruments for free, follow these steps:

  1. Download Waves Central, our software management application. (If you already have Waves Central installed, go on to step 2).
  2. Launch Waves Central:
    Windows: via the desktop shortcut or Start Menu > All Programs > Waves Central.
    Mac: Applications > Waves Central.
  3. Go to the Install Products page.
  4. Select the All Products tab.
  5. Search Studioverse and select both Studioverse Audio Effects and Studioverse Instruments.
  6. Click Install.

Please note: The full experience of StudioVerse and access to all chains depends on the plugins and instruments that are installed on your system and the version they are in.

For the full StudioVerse experience – we recommend choosing the Waves Ultimate Waves Creative Access subscription.

Option 2: Installfrom the StudioVerse page in Waves Central

  1. Download Waves Central, (If you already have Waves Central installed, skip to step 2).
  2. Launch Waves Central and login to your Waves account
    Windows: via the desktop shortcut or Start Menu > All Programs > Waves Central.
    Mac: Applications > Waves Central.
  3. In Waves Central, go to the StudioVerse page, and click Install Demo. This will install StudioVerse plugins and all Waves plugins.

*In case you don’t yet have licenses for any of the plugins, they will run in Demo mode - with periodic mutes.

** If you already have some plugins installed, it will let you choose to either install only StudioVerse, or install StudioVerse with the rest of the plugins in Demo Mode.

Option 3: Subscribe to Waves Creative Access

Access all the benefits of StudioVerse by subscribing to Waves Creative Access.

Installing your Waves Creative Access subscription also installs StudioVerse plugins.

  1. Choose a subscription and start your free 7-day trial here.
  2. Follow these steps to install and activate your Waves Creative Access plugins, including StudioVerse Plugins.

Option 4: Demo Waves Creative Access

Try StudioVerse by installing Waves Creative Access and using a fully functional demo with periodic mutes.

  1. Download Waves Central, our software management application. (If you already have Waves Central installed, go on to step 2).
  2. Launch Waves Central:
    Windows: via the desktop shortcut or Start Menu > All Programs > Waves Central.
    Mac: Applications > Waves Central.
  3. Select the Creative Access tab.
  4. Press ‘Install Demo’.
