How to Deactivate Waves Licenses

Learn how to deactivate your Waves license/s via Waves Central. This changes the status of a license to ‘Not Activated’ in your account. Do this if you wish to store your license/s while unused, or if requested to do so by Waves Technical or Customer Support staff.

Launch the Waves Central application:
Mac: Applications > Waves Central.
Windows: :\Program Files\Waves Central
Log into Waves Central using your Waves account information.
Select the Licenses page on the left bar.
Under the Connected Devices tab, click the drop-down arrow (on the right) to expand the list.
Select the license/s you wish to deactivate.
Under Target Device for Licenses, select ‘Deactivate’ as the target device.
Click ‘Deactivate.’
