How to Change the eMotion LV1 Classic Console Default System Name

Learn how to change the default system name of an eMotion LV1 Classic console.
By default, the LV1 Classic system name is set to LV1-Classic. Renaming it can be useful for easier identification in multi-system environments.

You can rename the eMotion LV1 Classic console by following these instructions:

  1. In eMotion LV1 > SETUP, exit to the Admin screen.
  2. Enter Advanced Admin by clicking the gearwheel icon in the bottom right corner. Click OK.
  3. On the top-left side, you’ll see the current system name.
  4. Click the pencil icon next to it to edit.

  6. Enter the new desired name in the Computer Name field.
    • Note: Spaces are not allowed in this field. Use a hyphen instead.

  7. Click OK.
  8. Restart when prompted or manually via the Admin screen > Restart.
