“Entry Point Not Found” Message in Waves Central

If you encounter an “Entry Point Not Found” message while launching Waves Central or during product installation, this means Windows is missing an operating system component. Follow these instructions:

  1. Quit Waves Central (if running).
  2. Windows 7 users go to this page on Microsoft’s website.
    Windows 8.1 users go to this page on Microsoft’s website.
  3. Click the Download button and save the file.
  4. Run the installer (.MSU).
  5. Restart you computer.
  6. Launch Waves Central and see if the issue persists.
