Here’s a mixing trick we got from mixing producer/engineer Ross Hogarth (Ziggy Marley, Doobie Brothers). You’ll learn how to achieve a fatter, heavier snare sound by pitch shifting the snare track, adding reverb to it, and then blending the result back in with the original.
