Waves Masterclass: From the Mix to the Master
We invite you to join us for an unforgettable masterclass featuring a full walkthrough of a song from recording session through to mixing and mastering. The evening will feature presentations by acclaimed mastering engineer Piper Payne and Waves own Michael Pearson-Adams.
The evening will be opened by Waves own Michael Pearson-Adams (Creed, Shakira, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page), mix engineer and director of training, as he takes you through a recording and mix session that he will be prepping for mastering.
Acclaimed mastering engineer and Waves artist Piper Payne (Third Eye Blind, Madame Gandhi) based out of Nashville will then take you through Michael’s mix and explain the good, the bad and the ugly, so that you will leave with a deeper knowledge of how to best prepare your music for the final mastering stage, and ultimately, release.
This event is not to be missed for those who seek a more holistic understanding of the relationship between the music production process and how the song is perceived by listeners around the world.
Refreshments will be served from 7 pm. Event begins at 7.30 pm.
