From an all-new visual design across LV1 sections, to new customizable mixer layouts, to a new tactile Channel Edit mode, plus much more—LV1 v17 helps you stay focused on the mix in demanding live environments.

Watch this quick overview of what's new in LV1 v17:

What’s new in LV1 v17?

Here are the most important new features at a glance (you can also see the complete release notes here):

1. Redesigned Graphic UI Across the LV1 Platform

LV1 v17 introduces an entirely refreshed visual language across the platform. The new interface features:

  • Redesigned layouts throughout the mixer
  • Sharper, higher-resolution graphics
  • Improved use of the large screen real estate
  • New color coding for faster orientation
  • Faster access to the controls you use most

Everything has been redesigned to help you find information more quickly, reduce visual clutter, and keep your attention where it belongs—on the mix.

2. Faster, More Customizable Mixer Windows

The two Mixer windows have been significantly redesigned for greater flexibility.

Most notably, turning “Big Faders” off now enables a powerful new three-row mixer layout, giving you faster access to more critical information and controls.

You can choose what to see in each row—either by choosing from the ‘Modes’ on the right, or by customizing the content of each row yourself. You can easily flip the order of the rows; and you can save each overall 3-row layout as a preset.

Additional Mixer window improvements include:

  • Expanded Channel Focus view, with clearer color coding and a larger Output selection section
  • New helpful channel indicators such as Recall Safe, Dugan and IEM status

The result is a mixer that's both faster and more adaptable to the way you like to work.

3. Redesigned ALL Window

The ALL window has also received a major redesign, making it easier to monitor and control your entire mixer from one workspace.

The new layout clearly separates between the Input section on the left, the Mix Bus section on the right, and the DCA + Master section at the bottom.

Other new additions include:

  • The ability to not only Link, as you could before, but also Flip, to see all aux sends
  • New channel indicators for Link and Record
  • Your choice bewteen two work modes: Fader mode for full fader control from the ALL window, vs. meter-only mode for safety

Together, these updates make the ALL window more useful than ever for managing large live productions.

4. Redesigned Channel Windows

The large Channel window, across all channel types, has also been redesigned for a new streamlined look.

Highlights include:

  • Clearer control sections
  • Color-coded focus parameters
  • Expanded Input and Output control
  • Improved panning workflows for easier operation across different panning modes
  • The filters, now relocated beneath the EQ, now follow the stereo mapping of the EQ.

These improvements make channel control faster and easier during live operation.

5. Expanded Tactile Control: New Channel Edit Mode

LV1 v17 introduces a new Channel Edit mode, providing immediate tactile access to key channel parameters.

When Edit mode is enabled, the console's rotary encoders automatically map to the selected channel's EQ, filters, dynamics, and aux sends—so you can make fast adjustments without changing windows or interrupting your workflow.

6. Streamlined Top Bar

The LV1’s Top Bar layout is now more neatly organized, with:

  • All channel and system indicators grouped on the left
  • Window selection remaining in the middle
  • Action controls such as Tap, Lock and more—on the right.

In addition, userful controls have been added to the top bar for even faster access. This includes the User Keys and Mute Groups, now always available from the top bar;l as well as the all-important ALL window.

7. More Workflow Enhancements

LV1 v17 introduces many additional improvements across the platform. Highlights include:

  • eMo Q4 and the F6 Dynamic EQ (both included with the LV1 Classic console) now support pinch gestures for adjusting Q
  • eMo Q4 also now includes an integrated Real-Time Analyzer (RTA)
  • The GEQ plugin (also included with LV1 Classic) can automatically map to the console’s faders for tactile GEQ operation
  • And GEQ control is now also available from LV1’s mobile & tablet apps.

Together with additional refinements throughout the mixer (see all release notes here), these updates deliver an even faster and more intuitive mixing experience.

Update today and experience the new LV1 workflow.
