What is “destructive” sound design? We find out with Graham Reznick, director and sound designer of the Shudder/AMC horror series Deadwax, as he takes us through his intricate plugin chain for one of the series’ deadliest sound effects.

In Part 1, Graham takes us in detail through his plugin chain, showing us how he transforms a simple bass sample into a complex, multifaceted sound cue that supports the series’ story-telling experience.
