How to Run Clarity Vx Plugins on Apple Silicon (ARM-based) Macs

Last updated on: 12/25/2022 7:48:04 AM

Clarity Vx or Clarity Vx Pro V14 are fully supported on Apple Silicon processors, as long as your DAW* is supported on Apple Silicon as well.
Clarity Vx V13 and Clarity Vx Pro V13 require the Rosetta 2 emulator to run on Apple Silicon processors. If your DAW doesn’t support Apple Silicon or if you are using V13, make sure to open your DAW* using the Rosetta 2 emulator, as described below.

  1. Quit your DAW.
  2. Go to the Applications folder and right-click your DAW’s icon.
  3. Select ‘Get Info’.
  4. On the Info card, check ‘Open using Rosetta’.
  5. Launch your DAW and start using Clarity Vx.

* Note that now all other plugins are also running in Rosetta.
