How to De-Verb with Smack Attack

Learn how to reduce or totally remove reverb from drum samples and loops, using the Smack Attack transient shaper, on its own or inside the free StudioRack plugin chainer.

Let's say you are in the early stages of producing a song. You drop an audio drum loop into your DAW and it works! The groove feels great, the elements suit your production style – but the sample has way too much reverb baked into the waveform. What do you do?
