Threshold

The input level around which expansion or compression starts acting. For soft knee dynamics processors, this is the input level around which expansion or compression begins to a significant degree. The knee setting will influence the behavior of the compressor around the threshold.

Triangle Wave

A periodic wave pattern consisting of a straight lines extending from positive peak to negative peak and back, with fixed intervals between them.
