Yoad Nevo is a London-based producer as well as a Waves Audio software developer.

As a producer, arranger, programmer, multi-instrumentalist, and recording/mixing/mastering engineer, his work can be heard on hit records by the likes of Bryan Adams, Jem, Pet Shop Boys, Sugababes, Air, Goldfrapp, The Bangles, Dandy Warhols, and many others.

A native of Israel, Yoad began his engineering journey at the age of 11 using a Revox reel-to-reel tape deck, three microphones, and a drum set. Before long, he was making full-fledged multitrack recordings, syncing a four-track recorder and MIDI to his Revox. Influenced by artists such as Yes, Rush, Mike Oldfield, and Pink Floyd, by age 16 Nevo had landed a gig in a music store, where he got the chance to experiment with (then) cutting-edge technologies like the Roland JX10 synth and early drum machines. A year later, upon completion of a course in sound engineering, Yoad became an assistant engineer at one of Israel’s top studios. He quickly became the studio’s primary engineer, and later earned credits and accolades as producer on many popular albums for leading Israeli artists. In tandem, Yoad began working with Waves founders Gilad Keren and Meir Shaashua on the technologies that would eventually become the first Waves plug-ins. He has been involved in the creation of Waves processors ever since.

After several successful years at the top of the Israeli music scene, Nevo made his way to London, where he has since been working with major international artists as producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist.
